Corrective Jaw Surgery Before/After Photo
This is a 28-year-old male who was referred by an orthodontist. Upon his initial evaluation, the patient had already had braces for over one year. The maxillary midline was 1 mm to the right of his facial midline. His bite was also open on the right side. The mandible deviated to the left as was the chin point. The patient wanted his bite to be corrected as well as have symmetry to his face. After discussion with the patient and the orthodontist, corrective jaw surgery was scheduled. The patient is happy with the results; photos were taken nine months following surgery.
