Corrective Jaw Surgery Before/After Photo

This patient was initially seen by the practice when her orthodontist was seeking to improve her bite. She experienced clicking and popping in her jaw, and it hurt for her to eat. recommended they begin the orthodontic procedure and remove her wisdom teeth and then re-evaluate the jaw issue in 24 months. Following a two year period, the patient was still experiencing the clicking and popping, and it was identified that her mandibular midline was 2mm to the left of her facial midline. The patient had the corrective jaw surgery and is very happy with the results, featured here seven months after surgery.
