Facial Cyst Removal Before/After Photo
This is a 56-year-old patient who came to see in Scottsdale, AZ. for evaluation of a lipoma on the right side of the face and neck. He noticed this lesion approximately 4 years ago. At that time his physician did a CBCT and blood work, and was told that there is no evidence of malignancy and it is a lipoma. He states that the lesion has increased in size over the past few years but more significantly over the past 6 months.
determined that there is a 6.5 x 5 cm soft mobile tissue lesion. discussed the surgical procedure, the risks and benefits of the surgery, plus other options with the patient.
The excision of the lesion was performed in our state-of-the-art surgery center under IV sedation. The lipoma was removed.
The post-operative photos were taken approximately 4 months after the surgery. The patient said he was very happy with the results.
