Tori Removal Before/After Photo
This is a 57-year-old female who was referred to by her dentist for the removal of tori on her palate.The patient stated that the tori had been present for a long time but recently she had noticed that it began to grow larger and became painful. She also stated that the area started to trap food when she ate and it was uncomfortable. Our surgical team took a panoramic x-ray to review the area before the procedure. The patient then elected to have the procedure using both local anesthetic and IV sedation. The after pictures were taken 2.5 months after the surgery and the patient said she was very happy with the results.
